after all these years i still prefer untitled to celeste.
celeste is for gamers who want a perfectly calculated and finetuned speedrunning experience and untitled is for people who want to download weird midis and mspaint drawings off archived 2000s webpages

did anybody here ever play anodyne. i dont really have a strong opinion on the games quality (though the atmosphere/music can be nice) but there were a couple gags that seemed oddly tone breaking in terms of being datedly edgy or pop cultural and i found out it came out in 2013 and was a spawn of that timepoint in indie games and was like well that makes sense

aus is one of my all time favorite games and im a little sad i never beat it on the highest difficulty in all honesty

i could never get past the grape room on the highest difficulty i tried. i forget if it was masterful or insanity

i played the paul hardcastle forest game and it was cute. i havent been keeping up with sylvie games unfortunately but i saw the name of paul hardcastle, the guy who did the famous bionicle song, which is a really good song, so i knew i had to play this game. i got to the level where you have 2 bananas and fall down a shaft before it ended... the song is really good as well as the game, so im thinking right now is the perfect time to really "get into" paul hardcastle

has anybody here played Artifact Adventure. seems like something this forum might find interesting. it has a little bit of the empty directionless zen that old games have.

i played more and it's actually not that much like aus, more puzzle-oriented than platforming-oriented. the influence on the style is impossible to ignore though. anyway, i like it.

Cute Discussion / Play Wuppo On Steam If You Like Untitled-Likes

play wuppo on steam if you like untitled likes. actually i've only played 30 minutes of it so far but all of them were pretty cute. it's in a humble bundle for $1 right now which is where i got it.

https://www.humblebundle.com/games/overwhelmingly-positive-2-bundle?hmb_source=humble_home&hmb_medium=product_tile&hmb_campaign=mosaic_section_1_layout_index_3_layout_type_twos_tile_index_1

when i started playing it it seemed heavily influenced by aus so i googled the two games alongside each other and the dev was indeed inspired by it so i was curious if news of the game had reached anybody on here, the forum related to the guy who made an untitled story, yet.
