i lurk in a discord for an obscure magic tower game called tactical nexus (which owns btw) and one of hte regulars posted about a cool game theyre making called "i wanna lockpick" and it also owns?? check it out.
i thought it was going to be really basic and execution heavy just going off the premise (key and door management) so i put it off for a long time, but they made some interesting posts about the game design philosophy of something else they're working on so i thought "maybe i should check that lockpick game out after all" and it turns out it's way more deep and interesting than i could have expected and it's actually really good and has a lot of really fun mechanics that i dont want to spoil.
