i saw borat a long time ago and enjoyed it. however its too edgy for me to enjoy nowadays

i was going to make a joke where i confuse borat with napoleon dynamite since both of those movies were popular in my early teens. however i cannot for the life of me remember a single fucking detail about napoleon dynamite

saw it for the first time in my life yesterday, so finding this thread was a funny coincidence.

to be honest, i only watched it out of cultural obligation, in that i wanted to understand how it affected popular culture and internet humor in ways that went over my head in the past. now i do. some jokes land but it's pretty uncomfortably edgy, yeah.
