Extremely good.
But I still haven't actually figured out the Infinite Corridor puzzle... I stumbled upon the answer twice and I'm not sure what triggered it. I tried exiting right 8 times, exiting left (by going right) 8 times, looking for ways to exit left without exiting right first, pressing 8 or S (since the infinity looks like an S sideways) a bunch, etc.
Also, the "a sea is not what it seems" hints are the most "unhelpful but clever in retrospect" thing. (I just figured "that which flies without wings" was relevant to that room, and that the cat was important somehow.) In other words: perfect recreation of La-Mulana.
For "Light some of the torches," since there are already two lit ones in the room, I feel it makes more sense to have to light 6 more instead of 8 more.

And do the 8's here correspond to gem locations? I didn't map it out or even confirm that the map is 8x8, but it'd make sense to me.
thanx so much for test-solving!!
to solve the infinite corridor puzzle, go right 7 times then down. its 7 instead of 8 for implementation reasons but i tried to justify it with the cat below that says something about "the first". from the first, going right 7 times takes you to the 8th.
that which flies without wings actually refers to the fake bat that has no animation and opens a block when you touch it. i assume you solved that one by accident. might make the bat harder to reach
thanks for catching the torch thing, i like that solution better
the 8 placement in that room is arbitrary but tying it to gems or maybe hearts is a cool idea that may or may not work
Oh, I thought I tried that too, with exactly that logic (or rather, "above is the first" means "going up from here is the first of eight transitions"). Maybe I miscounted or something. I think it makes sense if the map is 8 tiles wide - it's like you're wrapping around the map to go one screen left.
Also, yeah, I think I thought I touched the bat and died, and that's what opened the wall? It sort of made sense paired with "it cannot be reached."
my last gem is kitty plains... i dont think i understand it
here is a hint....
each of the tablet texts corresponds to exactly one gem..... think about which gems you have found and the clues you have read, and which tablet might be the clue for that last gem
or if you just wanna know without remembering or revisiting all the tablets..... the clue for that gem is: [sp]"hidden in the easiest puzzle"[/sp]
nciei assumed it was that tablet actually......... i feel like it has to do with the pressure plate room next door.....
