like petting an animal is nice because they enjoy it (if they enjoy it, and if they don't, dont pet them!), it's nice to make an animal happy.

when i press the b button to make some polygons rub over some other polygons it's a purely selfish act. there's no love to it. you're participating in a piece of marketing. you're standing up in front of the tv and yelling "mcdonalds!"
