What did you do to jinx the pandemic?

I had been planning a three-month road trip since early 2019 that was supposed to start next weekend.

i wasnt doing anything out of the ordinary, i was just going to visit some friends in chicago over around spring break time. but it definitely did sneak up on me where withint a period of two days i was like "huh what if they cancelled everything" and then it happened.

The whole mantra regarding 18 months to a vaccine was already insanely optimistic.  Even the idea we'd get a vaccine in the first place was optimistic.

Whole generations born and raised without seeing beyond the four walls of wherever their matriarch was when the stay-at-home order of 2020 was executed.

My rate for weddings I've been to that the bride and groom are still married today is around 33%.
