i like the way the hubol art style has evolved over time +  the character animation looks cool

also started using trello it's pretty dope even tho i dont use any features other than just having the notes and moving them into different columns lol

Huh, weird that Electron doesn't support prompt.  It's not exactly a "best practice", but sometimes you just need a modal, man.

Did you end using <dialog> in your replacement?  They have some special interaction with forms that make them a little more convenient to use.

Yes I did use dialog! It was very convenient and did nice stuff with focus, too.

I have only been using Ogmo since 2020! I never tried any others then. I don’t know if there is something better… But now I’m too invested with customizations haha.

i unfortunately have the game dev curse of hocking a new editor every time i make a new game of sufficient size - but theyre never robust enough to handle more than one project. surely the next one though  :D

actually though i was briefly working on a tile-based 3d project, so the editor for that was actually semi-warranted. not working on that project bc a full 3d proj is too much of a headache for me to manage rn, but some day.

I'm always reinventing wheels... But I like my wheels!!

I bought a refurbished laptop and I really like that I can use it on my couch... Who would have thought?!

Over two weeks, I made this (horny) but Hubolish game for my boyfriend as a chrimbus present. https://hubol.itch.io/crismis-2024 It is built using the IguaRPG 2 "engine"!!!!!!!

Not much Igua progress this month because of that... But it was still very fun to work on ^_^

Peace and love

Ending day 2 at level 11?!?!?! we have been journeying out into the fire to get up to at least level 13/14… struggling desperately to defeat the first “everdark sovereign”!

havent tried revenant yet… love wylder, executor, and guardian. ironeye seems ok. played as recluse once, seems TOUGH! havent played as anyone else yet at 60 hours or some shit…

Definitely not an ideal level, but it was an early run with randoms.  I still didn't much know what I was doing.

Have yet to fight the big zappy.  I want to take him on, but I have a win streak going and I'm not ready to lose it yet.

My favourites so far are Wylder and Ironeye, but I'm quickly growing on Raider too.  Guardian I like but he is super relic-dependant, and in solo his damage can be a bit low.  I find he's very dependant on guard counters.  But sadly, you can only charge guard counters on halberds!

Recluse I like, but she probably has the highest skill ceiling in the game.  You not only need to learn the cocktails, but need to know which spells are worth using, and what affinities they apply.  I need to spend more time learning her.  She has potentially some of the highest damage in the game though.

Executor is cool (I freaking love Sekiro).  I do find his deflect-focused build is a little too slow for this game though.  Especially in multiplayer when enemies are often switching targets.  So I normally play him with a status build (bleed + frost + poison) due to his arcane stats, and only use the cursed sword during a few one-on-one encounters like banished knights.
