Cutey Zone Recommends
« on: March 09, 2016, 03:59:25 AM »
ITT post something that you recently bought, watched, played, heard, read, felt and/or ate; and that you want others to buy, watch, play, hear, read, feel and/or eat.

pikmin 2 is really nice! i know the dungeon sections don't really work for everyone (basically just floors of combat encounters) but i really love the feel of making little bits of progress everyday on the overworld knocking down shortcuts or collecting far out treasures. multitasking with olimar and louie is really rewarding too. i give this game two red pikmins up  :chili: :chili:

I was thinking the PlayStation Oculus Vive.

But nah, they're $1K+ in Canada.  As hyped as I am for VR I can't justify it.  Will probably wait for gen 2.

Do you think peeps who get motion sickness with normal first person perspective games will get sick with VR headsets?

Probably.  There's a lot more conflicting information to the brain in VR than you get with a regular first person game.  So if you're overly sensitive to something like that, it likely wouldn't be a very enjoyable experience.

I used an Oculus Rift (DK1, I think) and it was the most immersive gaming experience I've ever had. And I was playing a shitty game made in 2 months by a college student.

I still wouldn't drop $600+ on a VR headset though.

Do you guys know how the Humble Monthly works?  Can I pay a single 12 dolar and cancel my subscription immediately after?

You get all of them.  You'll be charged right away and get the two keys at the time of purchase.  Once the other games are revealed they'll then be added to your purchase page.
