The black thing is a panel that controls the electric motors attached to the desk legs.

What do you guys think of the Gtx 1080?

what do people think of stand up desks. i saw some in an office and one worker was on a balance board while they worked and it looked kinda fun

I've considered it but I'm unconvinced on the health benefits and it honestly seems like more effort than it's worth.

But maybe. Would be interested in reading anecdotes.

Sitting for long periods of time is bad for your health. So is standing for long periods of time. The solution is to do neither (for long periods of time).

I switch my desk from sitting to standing several times a night.

I ran some CPU benchmarks and didn't even break 50°C.
