Dang Facebook is buying up the exclusives, and I don't much care to join their ecosystem even with Revive.

Weirdly VR mods are one of the best new prospects.  Risk of Rain 2 in VR is intense.  Mods are less polished than say Alyx or Walkabout Minigolf, but still a lot of fun.

my response to most decent looking VR games ends up being “looks pretty cool”.

Alyx set a standard that nobody wants to invest the money to follow.

Alyx is so good.  The nice thing is it's continuing to get custom content.  Need to try out that Bioshock pack.  I played the original map it was based on and even that was high quality.

Yeah the Bioshock one is on my TODO list, Trotim pays more attention to that stuff tho. The barrier of laziness gets in the way of VR a lot…

everytime i play a vr game im like "damn this is actually pretty cool i should do it more often" but then i dont because playing i have a hard time even playing regular video games these days :(
